1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Lair of Fire ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

Lair of Fire is a goal accountability platform that pairs users ("Igniters") with accountability partners ("Keepers"). Users may place financial stakes on their goals to increase commitment.

3. Account registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service.

4. Financial stakes and payments

  • Stakes are voluntary financial commitments you make toward your goals.
  • By placing a stake, you authorize Lair of Fire to charge the specified amount if your goal is not completed as agreed.
  • All payments are processed through Stripe.
  • Subscription fees (Blaze plan) are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time.
  • Stake charges are non-refundable once a goal has been resolved as failed.

5. User conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Submit fraudulent proof of goal completion
  • Harass or abuse other users (Igniters or Keepers)
  • Attempt to manipulate the platform or circumvent stake charges
  • Create multiple accounts to exploit the system

6. Keeper responsibilities

Keepers who claim goals agree to provide fair and honest assessments of goal completion. Keepers must act in good faith when reviewing proof submissions and resolving goals.

7. Limitation of liability

Lair of Fire is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Active stakes will be resolved according to their terms before account deletion is complete.

9. Changes to terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification.
